RICHMOND, Va. – Dominion (NYSE: D) successfully integrated at 12:01 a.m. Sunday into PJM Interconnection, the nation’s largest regional transmission organization.

“This is good news for Dominion, our customers, and shareholders,” said Thos. E. Capps, chairman and chief executive officer. “The expanded PJM region will make available to Dominion’s customers about 168,000 megawatts of installed capacity. Integration into PJM benefits customers by improving reliability, enhancing planning and resource adequacy, and improving access to economic power supplies.”

Dominion received approval to integrate into PJM from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Oct. 5, 2004, the Virginia State Corporation Commission on Nov.10, 2004, and the North Carolina Utilities Commission on April 19.
