Dominion Promotes Steven A. Rogers to Senior Vice President and Controller

RICHMOND, Va. – Dominion, one of the nation’s largest energy companies, has promoted Steven A. Rogers to senior vice president and controller.  He had served as vice president and controller since June 2000.

Rogers began with Dominion in 1996 as manager-Internal Audit. In March 1997, he was named vice president and controller of OptaCor Financial Services Co., a subsidiary of Dominion Capital Inc. In September 1998, he assumed the position of corporate controller at Dominion Energy Inc.

Prior to joining Dominion, Rogers worked at Deloitte & Touche and as controller-treasurer for Rehab Management Inc.

Rogers is a native of Massachusetts and received a bachelor’s degree in economics/accounting from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., in 1983.

Rogers has been a member of the Edison Electric Institute's Accounting Executive Advisory Committee since 2002 and is chairman for 2005-2006. In addition, he has been on the board of the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Metropolitan Richmond since 2003 and currently serves as chairman.
