On April 3, Dominion’s Chairman, President and CEO Thomas F. Farrell III sent a letter to Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe. Mr. Farrell indicated that Dominion will identify a contractor, experienced in coal ash solid waste management, to conduct assessments of surface impoundments at Bremo Bluff, Chesapeake, Chesterfield and Possum Point power stations in Virginia. The assessments, which will be completed by December 1, 2017, will help to ensure the long term protection of public health, the environment and the safety of the individual CCR units.
